The Municipal Corporation of Hub has taken swift action to address the recent heavy rainfall in the area. Under the instructions of the Chief Officer, municipal staff have been deployed to tackle the situation, with drainage work already underway at three different locations in Hub Town.
Municipal teams, led by Hassan Rind and Neik Muhammad Rind, are working tirelessly to ensure efficient drainage.
– *24/7 Complaints Center*: The Municipal Corporation’s Complaints Center is operational round the clock, providing timely resolutions to citizen complaints.
– *Continuous Monitoring*: Naseebullah Tareen is keeping a close eye on the situation in areas like Adalat Road Civic Center, M.R.C.D., and Allahabad Town.
– *Mayor’s Encouragement*: Mayor Hub and Dera Babu Faiz Muhammad Sheikh are motivating municipal staff to maintain their efforts during the rains ¹.
This proactive response aims to mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall and ensure citizen safety, much like efforts seen in other cities like Karachi, where the administration has been working to clear choking points and improve drainage systems .
