The Provincial Emergency Operations Center (PEOC-GB) has received medicines from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) through the Pakistan Air Force, which were subsequently handed over to the Health Department of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The medicines aim to support the treatment and management of patients in flood-affected areas, ensuring timely medical facilities and addressing potential public health emergencies. The GBDMA, in collaboration with NDMA, Pakistan Air Force, and the Health Department, is working to enhance relief efforts in affected areas .
The Director General of GBDMA emphasized the organization’s commitment to serving the affected communities, highlighting the importance of inter-agency coordination in responding to disasters and providing essential services to those in need.
