University of Turbat’s Academic Council Approves Key Initiatives for Academic Excellence

The 17th meeting of the University of Turbat’s Academic Council, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, witnessed significant decisions aimed at enhancing the institution’s academic standing. The Council approved several key initiatives, policies, and reforms to ensure transparency, effective governance, and academic excellence at the university.

Introduction of new undergraduate and graduate programs for Spring 2026 admissions, marking a landmark achievement in the university’s history.
– Approval of the UoT Academic Calendar 2025 for undergraduate and graduate programs.
Endorsement of the Prime Minister’s Literacy Drive, “Each One Teaches One,” to promote literacy and education.
Establishment of a Software Development Center at the Law Department’s building.
– Encouragement of UoT’s participation in HEC foreign collaborations to promote global academic ties.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan reaffirmed his commitment to conducting university affairs in line with the Balochistan Universities Act, university rules, and statutes. These initiatives are expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of education at UoT and contributing to the socio-economic development of the region .
