Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the PPP has to regain its lost position in Punjab

Lahore, August 23, 2025…Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the PPP has to regain its lost position in Punjab. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will become the Prime Minister of the country through people’s mandate. Those who supported the party in difficult times will be brought forward. Everyone has to play a role for the  rehabilitation of the flood victims. He expressed these views while presiding over the meeting of the Attock District Organizational Committee.

Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the leadership has been consulted for a new reorganization across the province and it will be announced very soon. He said that the Pakistan People’s Party has always supported the workers and activists and brought them forward. The Governor of Punjab said that he himself was a Jayala and the party leadership made him the Governor of Punjab. He said that the time is not far when Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be the Prime Minister of the country with the public mandate. He directed the committee members to organize corner meetings in their districts and deliver Bilawal Bhutto’s message to every street and neighborhood. The Governor of Punjab said that the PPP needs to work hard to regain its lost position in Punjab. He further said said that he is not doing politics for personal interest, but for the betterment of the party.

Talking about the flood situation, Governor of Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is taking briefings on a daily basis and is also visiting the affected areas, going beyond politics. He said that in the current situation, political parties should avoid politics. The Governor of Punjab said that the PPP has also mobilized its workers across the country to help the flood victims. He added that everyone should play a role in helping and rehabilitating the flood victims in this difficult time.
