Secretary Education Punjab removes Mianwali CEO, Suspends School Principal Sargodha for Negligence

Lahore, August 23 —
On the directives of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, Secretary School Education Khalid Nazir conducted surprise visits to schools in several districts to review facilities and administrative performance.

During the inspections, CEO Education Mianwali, Ahmad Yar, was removed from his post for providing incorrect data regarding missing facilities. He has been directed to immediately report to the School Education Department.

In a separate action, the Principal of Farogh-e-Taleem Girls High School Sargodha, Uzma Ambreen, was also suspended on the spot over poor cleanliness arrangements, staff absenteeism, and negligence in other school matters. She has also been instructed to report to the department without delay.

The Secretary Education reiterated that negligence and provision of false information will not be tolerated, emphasizing that strict measures are being taken to improve the quality of education and ensure proper facilities in schools.
