Lahore, August 25, 2025 : Pakistan has dispatched a large consignment of 100 tons of aid to Palestine. Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain oversaw the departure from Lahore Airport.
He confirmed that 100 tons of goods have been transported via a special plane for the welfare of Palestinians. Hussain clarified that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif specifically directed this delivery, which was coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The aid package includes food parcels, ready-made meals, and preserved fruits. The minister revealed that Pakistan has already delivered 2,027 tons of aid to Gaza via 21 flights. He thanked the NDMA for the efficient handling of the shipment.
Hussain reiterated Pakistan’s support for the Palestinian population during these challenging times. He added that in addition to material assistance, they are also praying for lasting peace, security, and well-being for the Palestinian people.
