Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A meeting of the Central Eid Milad-un-Nabi Committee was held at Maki Masjid Ghousia to review arrangements for celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet with due reverence and grandeur. The session was presided over by Committee President and Vice Chairman Municipal Committee, Malik Zulfiqar.
The meeting was attended by General Secretary Maulana Muhammad Ali Qadri, Imtiaz Ansari, Ghulam Qadir Qureshi, Aslam Qureshi, Khan Muhammad Masoomi, Hafiz Sher Ali, Anwar Qadri, Babar Kamali, Hafiz Muhammad Ihsan, Syed Atif Ali Rizvi, Hafiz Ali Akbar Bhatti, and Malik Gulzar among others.
During the discussions, participants appealed to the HESCO administration to reschedule load-shedding during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. They also emphasized the need for special cleanliness drives, smooth traffic management, and strict security measures for the procession. It was stressed that heavy police deployment should be ensured along the procession route.
According to the committee’s decision, the central procession will commence at 10 a.m. from Mohammadi Chowk, proceed through traditional routes, hold a public gathering at Jinnah Chowk, and return to Mohammadi Chowk for its conclusion.
