Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, chaired a consultative meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Umbrella Schemes at the Chief Minister Secretariat in Quetta. The meeting was attended by parliamentary leaders and members of coalition parties.
The meeting deliberated on making umbrella schemes more effective, transparent, and result-oriented, keeping in view the public interest and needs of the province. CM Bugti emphasized that the primary objective of umbrella schemes is to provide developmental facilities to every segment of society equally, and it is essential to align these schemes with public needs.
The CM directed the concerned authorities to adopt a transparent procedure for the implementation of schemes and ensure that resources are utilized solely for public welfare. He also emphasized that the government is committed to monitoring and timely completion of umbrella schemes.
