Islamabad Traffic Police Launches Crack down.

The Islamabad Traffic Police has initiated a special enforcement campaign under the directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider. The campaign aims to improve traffic discipline in the federal capital by strictly enforcing traffic laws.
During the past week, the Islamabad Traffic Police took action against 1,585 vehicles and motorcycles for violating traffic rules. A total of 1,112 motorcycles and 552 vehicles were impounded for reckless driving.
Lane Violations*: 821 cases registered
– *Driving without License*: 114 cases registered
– *Illegal Parking*: 2,552 cases registered
: 808 cases registered
– *Fancy Number Plates*: Cases registered
– *Signal Violations*: 1,169 cases registered
– *No Helmet*: 998 cases registered
– *No Fitness Certificate*: 94 cases registered

The traffic police also took action against overloaded heavy traffic, issuing 4,741 challans. Additionally, 207 rickshaws were penalized for entering areas prohibited to them.
The Islamabad Traffic Police utilized drone technology to monitor traffic and issued challans to 60 drivers. Awareness was also provided to 45 drivers.
The CTO has directed officials to continue strict enforcement actions without discrimination. The Islamabad Traffic Police aims to maintain a safe and orderly traffic system in the capital.
