A major crackdown on narcotics was carried out in Pishin on August 26, 2025, under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Pishin. The operation, conducted jointly by Assistant Commissioner Brushor and Levies Force, resulted in the seizure of massive quantities of drugs and the arrest of six suspects.
A significant quantity of drugs, weighing 10 tons, was seized and burned on the spot.
-Six suspects were arrested red-handed while transporting drugs, and three vehicles used for smuggling were taken into custody.
– *32 Bags of Drugs Seized*: 32 bags of drugs were confiscated and handed over to the Forest Department.
Deputy Commissioner Pishin reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics. Ensuring the region’s safety from drugs is a top priority for the district administration.
