Islamabad, August 30 (SPECIAL REPORT) The All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) and Karachi Customs Agents Association (KCAA) have fully supported the implementation of the Faceless Customs Clearance System in Karachi. APCAA Chairman Arshad Khursheed and KCAA President Muhammad Aamir termed this new system as part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s reform agenda, saying that this step ensures transparency, efficiency and equality in the customs process. Both leaders praised the new Chief Collector Customs Appraisement South, Wajid Ali, for consulting with stakeholders, saying that such dialogue can improve the implementation of the system. Acknowledging the excellent design of the system, both groups pointed out operational obstacles that are causing slowdowns in clearance.
