(Special report): Severe flooding caused by the overflowing Indus River in Rajanpur district has created a dire situation, posing a significant threat to life and property. Rajanpur police are conducting large-scale relief operations and evacuating residents trapped in the rising waters. People stranded in elevated areas and other flood-affected regions are being transported to relief camps using boats and other means.
District Police Officer (DPO) Rajanpur, Farooq Amjad, is personally supervising the relief efforts to ensure the safety of the citizens. Police are working day and night to reach the affected people and provide assistance.”
