Quetta, August 30 (Special Report) – Preparations are underway in Balochistan for a major influx of water, raising concerns about the existing infrastructure’s capacity to handle this flood.

Evacuation efforts in Multan have faced some criticism from displaced people. They are reporting insufficient boats to effectively relocate everyone and a lack of provisions for their livestock.

Both human lives and property are at severe risk in areas affected by rising waters. Emergency services are on high alert and are working to mitigate potential damage. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating relief efforts.

The Meteorological Department has issued warnings about the ongoing heavy rainfall and the possibility of further flooding in the coming days. Residents in at-risk areas are urged to heed official advisories and cooperate with evacuation procedures
