The Irrigation Department in Balochistan has taken proactive measures to mitigate the impact of potential floods in the region. Chief Engineer Canals, Nasir Majeed, inspected the Pat Feeder Canal from RD 418 to RD 505 and reviewed the flood emergency control rooms.

Superintending Engineer Irrigation Circle Nasirabad, Ghulam Sarwar Bunglzee, briefed the Chief Engineer on the protective measures, water supply for agricultural purposes, and other challenges faced by the canal.

The Chief Engineer directed the addition of more water supply material and took stock of the existing situation.
