Gilgit, September 10, 2025: Director General Gilgit Development Authority (GDA), Izharullah, along with the Project Director of the Sanitary Sewerage Project and the consultant team, visited the ongoing sewerage works at Konodas Main Road area and Aminabad Colony, Jutial.
During the visit, the quality and pace of work were reviewed. The DG GDA directed the contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of the project to address public grievances. He said that the sanitary sewerage system is one of the city’s basic needs, and its completion will provide the citizens with an improved sanitation system and a healthier environment.
He further warned that any negligence or delay during the project would not be tolerated. The Project Director briefed the DG GDA on the current progress and challenges, upon which the DG assured full institutional support for the early completion of the project.
