NAB Balochistan Holds Seminar at NUML Quetta on “Role of Students in Eradicating Corruption”

Quetta, September 9, 2025: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan organized a seminar at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Quetta on the theme “Role of Students in Eradicating Corruption.” The session was addressed by Additional Director NAB Balochistan, Mr. Imran Majeed, and NUML Quetta Director, Ms. Samreen, along with senior NAB officers.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness among the youth, particularly students, about the detrimental effects of corruption and to promote collective efforts for building a corruption-free society.

Speaking on the occasion, Additional Director NAB, Mr. Imran Majeed, stressed that nepotism, bribery, favoritism, and misuse of authority are dangerous forms of corruption that have unfortunately become common in society. He urged students to reject such practices and play their crucial role in bringing about positive social change.

Highlighting Islamic teachings, the speakers emphasized that self-accountability, honesty, and integrity are core values of Islam, and corruption in any form is unacceptable. They encouraged students to make honesty and accountability the foundation of their personal and professional lives.

Ms. Samreen, Director NUML Quetta, appreciated NAB Balochistan’s efforts and assured full cooperation in future awareness campaigns, stating that educational institutions must provide such opportunities to nurture both the knowledge and character of students.

At the end of the seminar, NAB officials and NUML representatives exchanged commemorative shields. An awareness walk was also held, joined by NAB officers, NUML’s Regional Director, faculty members, lecturers, and students.
