Islamabad, Sept. 10,
President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan greatly values its brotherly relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, rooted in shared faith, history, and strong people-to-people bonds. He was talking to Bahrain’s Interior Minister, General Sheikh Rashid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President appreciated existing cooperation, including the visa abolition agreement, and stressed enhanced collaboration in security, immigration, counterterrorism, and narcotics control. He also lauded the role of over 120,000 Pakistanis living in Bahrain. Sheikh Rashid conveyed warm greetings from Bahrain’s leadership and reaffirmed the desire to deepen ties
