Thatta:Sep.13 In the jurisdiction of Thatta Police Station near 22 RD Bhari Shidi Mori, an exchange of fire took place between police and armed criminals. During the encounter, one suspect was arrested in injured condition.
The arrested suspect has been identified as Muhammad Pirel, son of Muhammad Javed Abro, a native of Larkana and currently residing in Shah Latif Colony, Makli.
According to initial investigations, the suspect has been involved in several incidents of robbery, snatching, and motorcycle thefts in Makli, Gharo, and Dhabeji areas. A revolver used in the crimes was also recovered from his possession.
Police further confirmed that the criminal record of the injured suspect is being verified. His accomplices, identified as Gumshad son of Pathan Panhwar and Shakoor son of Morio Khaskheli, managed to escape during the encounter. Raids are being conducted for their arrest.
The injured suspect has been shifted to hospital for medical treatment, while further investigation is underway.
