Pakistan Pavilion Wins Hearts at International Village of Gastronomy Paris

Paris, September 12 — The Embassy of Pakistan’s pavilion at the International Village of Gastronomy in Paris continued to attract hundreds of visitors on the second day of the mega event, charming guests with the country’s rich culinary traditions, music, and handicrafts.

Crowds thronged the Pakistan pavilion to savor traditional dishes, with chicken biryani, channa chaat, gulab jamun, and jalebi winning particular praise. The refreshing national drink, Rooh Afza, also drew admiration from visitors who appreciated its unique flavor and cultural significance.

Beyond food, the pavilion displayed Pakistan’s diverse handicrafts and showcased traditional music, creating a festive environment that stood out among the international stalls. Many visitors expressed appreciation for the warmth of Pakistani hospitality and the richness of its cultural heritage.

The International Village of Gastronomy, one of Paris’s largest annual culinary events, brings together cuisines from across the world. Pakistan’s participation this year has highlighted its dynamic food culture and strengthened cultural exchange with international audiences.

The festival will continue for two more days and conclude on September 14, 2025.
