Punjab Government Deploys 44 Additional Machines to Repair Noorajah Bhutta Flood Bund Gap

Lahore, 23 September 2025: Following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Marium Nawaz Sharif, 44 additional machines have been deployed to seal the breach at the Noorajah Bhutta flood bund at the Lodhran site.

All officers of the Irrigation Department remained present on-site to oversee and expedite the repair work. Trucks loaded with stones and soil swiftly completed the process of filling the breach.

Under the Chief Minister’s instructions, the Senior Minister and the Provincial Minister for Irrigation have been tasked with monitoring the emergency operation at Noorajah Bhutta. The Chief Minister continues to receive real-time updates on the progress of this critical repair work.
