Quetta-Bound Gold Worth Over PKR 248 Million Stolen Near Qila Saifullah

Qila Saifullah, 23 September 2025: Armed individuals intercepted a passenger bus near Muslim Bagh and snatched approximately 7.5 kilograms of gold from two travelers, local Levies sources reported.

The victims, residents of Multan, were transporting the gold in bags to sell to buyers in Quetta. According to Levies officials, as the bus approached Muslim Bagh, three vehicles carrying armed men stopped the bus. The travelers were forced out of the bus along with their bags, placed in a separate vehicle, and the gold was stolen before the assailants fled the scene.

Levies sources estimated the stolen gold’s value at PKR 248.1 million. An FIR has been registered against unidentified suspects, and investigations are ongoing.
