Thatha, Sep. 25, 2025: In a major operation, Thatha police apprehended a suspect involved in multiple robberies and motorcycle snatching incidents during an armed encounter on the Thatha-Baghar Mori Link Road.
The injured suspect has been identified as Ameer, son of Kandiro Gandro, resident of Village Allah Bakhsh Gandro, Makli. Police say he was involved in several criminal activities across Thatha and Makli, including street robberies and motorcycle snatching.
A pistol used in the commission of these crimes was recovered from the suspect. He sustained injuries during the exchange of fire and has been transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Police are verifying his complete criminal record. His accomplices, identified as Abdo alias Adu Gandro and Mushtaq Jakhro, remain at large, and raids are ongoing to apprehend them.
Thatha Police Spokesperson stated that this operation reflects the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety.
