Gwadar – September 26, 2025:
An important meeting was held under Additional Deputy Commissioner General Dr. Abdul Shakoor to finalize preparations for the National Polio Campaign from October 13 to 19, 2025.
District Health Officer Dr. Abdul Latif Dashti, WHO DSO Dr. Zafar Baloch, MSPHI Dr. Murshid Dashti, and other stakeholders participated. Strategies included team reorganization, public awareness programs, 100% coverage of children under five, coordination among line departments, and full security for polio teams. Officials were instructed to provide lists and training promptly to ensure smooth execution at tehsil and UC levels.
Dr. Shakoor stressed that complete eradication of polio requires coordinated, effective strategies to reach every child.
