PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Historic UNGA Address: A Voice for Muslim Ummah and Palestine, Says Speaker Ayaz Sadiq

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has hailed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s address at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as the speech of a visionary and courageous global leader.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that the Prime Minister began his speech with Quranic verses, sending a powerful message of peace, tolerance, and harmony to the world. He emphasized that the Prime Minister strongly represented the sentiments of the Muslim Ummah and highlighted Pakistan’s principled stance on global issues.

The Speaker noted that the Prime Minister exposed Israeli atrocities in Palestine, condemned aggression against Qatar, and urged the international community to take urgent and concrete action in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

He further added that the Prime Minister unmasked India’s false propaganda by reminding the world of the killing of innocent children in the Indian attack on May 7. He also drew global attention to human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Highlighting national security, the Speaker said the Prime Minister showcased the success of Operation Bunyān al-Marsous and the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, making it clear that Pakistan is a sovereign state that condemns all forms of terrorism and aggression.

The Prime Minister also drew attention to the sacrifices of 90,000 Pakistani martyrs, the economic toll of the war on terror, and the threats posed by terrorism originating from Afghan soil.

On the economic front, he briefed the world about Pakistan’s reforms, development agenda, and the challenges of climate change, especially the devastating floods that struck the country in recent years.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq concluded that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech at the UNGA was historic, comprehensive, and a true reflection of Pakistan’s resolute voice on global peace, justice, and sovereignty.
