Sibi, September 28 – Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (R) Ilyas Kabzai and SSP Akhtar Nawaz inaugurated a newly equipped operation theater at the Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Sibi.

The facility is fitted with modern surgical equipment, enabling complex and emergency surgeries to be performed locally. MS Dr. Umair Hussain briefed the officials on the hospital’s progress, noting over 50,000 OPDs and numerous surgeries in the last five months. He shared that the hospital successfully conducted its first bullet removal operation. The DC and SSP praised the administration’s efforts, highlighting that significant funds have been allocated for further improvements, including ambulance restoration and facility upgrades.
