Livestock Secretary Visits Women Farmers’ Training Project in Lasbela

Lasbela, September 28 – Parliamentary Secretary for Law, Tourism and Culture Nawabzada Zareen Khan Magsi’s constituency was visited by Balochistan Livestock Secretary Muhammad Tayyab Lehri, who inspected the Women Farmer Field School established under the Gwadar Lasbela Livelihoods Support Project-II (GLLSP-II) by FAO in Haji Lima Goth, Tehsil Kanraj.

Project officials briefed him on training modules, successes, and future plans. Women farmers shared their experiences, saying the training enhanced poultry farming knowledge and improved household incomes. Inputs were distributed among farmers. The Secretary praised FAO’s role in empowering rural women, stressing the importance of such initiatives in mitigating climate change impacts on livestock and farming communities.
