ANF Crackdown on Drug Traffickers
ANF Pakistan Seizes 150 Kgs of Drugs in Nationwide Crackdown, 4 Arrested Including Woman
Islamabad, September 29, 2025: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Pakistan has intensified its fight against drug trafficking and illegal narcotics, conducting a nationwide crackdown. During 6 targeted operations, authorities arrested 4 accused, including 1 woman, and recovered 150 kilograms of drugs valued at over PKR 42 lakh.
International Drug Interdiction:
At Jinnah International Airport, authorities recovered 7.320 kgs of ice (crystal meth) hidden in clothing parcels destined for Saudi Arabia, showing Pakistan’s active role in global drug interdiction.
Inter-Provincial Drug Interdiction:
Near Haro Toll Plaza, Attock, 12 kgs of hashish were seized from a rickshaw, and suspects arrested.
Domestic Drug Interdiction:
In the parking area of Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, authorities recovered 1 kg of ice and 1 kg of suspected chemical material, arresting 2 individuals, including 1 woman.
Near Fawara Chowk, D.I. Khan, 200 grams of hashish were seized.
Near Korangi, Karachi, 9.800 kgs of hashish were recovered from bushes.
In the deserted area of Kach Sardar, Loralai, a hashish production factory was dismantled, recovering 120 kgs of cannabis.
All cases have been registered under the CNS Act 1997, and investigations are ongoing
