Quetta, September 30, 2025:
Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, on Tuesday visited the site of the explosion near FC Headquarters at Pishin Stop, Quetta, to review the situation and assess progress in the investigation.
He was accompanied by DIG Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Aitzaz Ahmed Goraya, senior police officials, and representatives of security agencies. DIG CTD briefed the IG on initial evidence, the nature of the blast, and updates regarding the inquiry.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Muhammad Tahir said that such cowardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of police and law enforcement agencies. He reiterated that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the top priority and vowed to employ all available resources to eliminate terrorism from its roots.
