A district-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Khosa finalized preparations for the national Measles and Rubella (MR) campaign in Barkhan, scheduled from November 17 to 29, 2025.
The campaign aims to vaccinate children between six months and five years of age to protect them from measles and rubella. The meeting was attended by government officials, doctors, social activists, and other stakeholders.
DC Barkhan directed all departments to make comprehensive arrangements for the successful execution of the campaign, stressing that cooperation from public representatives, religious scholars, political and social figures, and the community is essential to safeguard children against these dangerous diseases.
