Armed Militants Attack Police in Rawalakot and Dadyal – Three Policemen Martyred, Nine Injured
Rawalakot / Dadyal, October 1, 2025:
Armed miscreants of the so-called Awami Action Committee launched unprovoked attacks on police personnel in Chamiati, Dher Kot and Dadyal areas.
As a result of the indiscriminate firing by the militants, three police personnel embraced martyrdom and nine others sustained injuries. One civilian was also killed and several others injured in the incident. All the martyrs and injured policemen belong to Azad Kashmir.
Details of the martyred personnel are as follows:
Constable Khurshid (District Bagh)
Constable Jamil (District Bagh)
Constable Tahir Rafi (District Muzaffarabad)
Families of the martyrs and injured have demanded exemplary punishment for the culprits.
The attack by armed militants on law-enforcement agencies is proof of their nefarious design to spread unrest in Azad Kashmir. Law-enforcement agencies have launched strict legal action against the perpetrators, making it clear that no armed group will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state or take the law into their own hands.
