PESHAWAR (October 6):
Advisor to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Dr. Saif, announced that more than 1.67 million patients have received free medical treatment under the Sehat Card Plus Program, with expenditures exceeding Rs 57 billion.
He said 276 patients have benefited from transplant and cochlear implant facilities, with treatment available in 158 hospitals across KP and 700 nationwide.
Barrister Dr. Saif highlighted the introduction of the Jwandun Card, providing free OPD medicines, initially launched in Mardan. The service will expand to other districts soon.
