DIG Larkana Takes Strict Notice of Shikarpur Firing Incident: Three, Including Young Girl, Shot Dead
Orders Immediate Arrest of Culprits and Deployment of Additional Police Force in the Area
LARKANA, Oct 8 — Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Larkana Range, Nasir Aftab, has taken strong notice of a tragic firing incident in district Shikarpur, where three people — including a 17-year-old passerby girl — were killed amid an old tribal dispute between the Dahani and Jeho groups in the jurisdiction of Madi Ji Police Station, near Salar Link Road.
Upon receiving the report, DIG Nasir Aftab immediately contacted SSP Shikarpur Shahzeb Chachar and issued directives to send additional police contingents to the conflict-hit area. He also ordered the DSP Madi Ji to remain present at the site with his entire sub-division police force until complete restoration of peace.
The DIG further instructed police officials to ensure the immediate arrest of all suspects involved in the deadly firing and to tighten security measures to prevent further escalation.
According to details, the victims were identified as Nisar Ahmed Jeho, Anwar Ali Jeho, and 17-year-old passerby girl Saran Manghi, who tragically lost her life after being caught in the crossfire.
Police units have since cordoned off the area, launched a comprehensive search operation, and intensified patrols to maintain law and order.
DIG Nasir Aftab reaffirmed that no one taking the law into their own hands will be spared, emphasizing that justice will be ensured through swift and impartial action.
