Harnai, October 10: Commissioner Sibi Division, Asadullah Faiz, visited the District Headquarters Hospital Harnai. He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Arshad Hussain Jamali, SP Abdul Hafeez Jhakrani, Additional DC Saleem Tareen, DHO Dr. Abdul Rehman Hashmi, Medical Superintendent Dr. Abdul Rasheed, Dr. Rasheed Shah, and other officials.
The Commissioner inspected the emergency ward, medicine store, and other hospital sections, receiving a comprehensive briefing on administrative affairs, available medical facilities, and patient care.
Expressing satisfaction over the hospital management’s performance, he directed that all medical officers and paramedical staff ensure regular attendance and provide quality healthcare to citizens. He noted that many patients lack financial means for private treatment, making public hospitals their only source of care — therefore, it is our duty to assist and support them fully for timely and effective treatment.
Commissioner Asadullah Faiz emphasized that the government is taking every possible step to strengthen the health sector, ensuring free and quality medical services for every citizen. He added that installation of modern equipment, availability of medicines, and staff performance are top priorities. The Commissioner also instructed the hospital administration to maintain strict cleanliness standards and improve basic facilities without compromise.
