Gwadar, October 10: Member of Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch visited the Teacher Training Centre established at Government Girls High School Shambay Ismail, Gwadar, to review the ongoing teacher training programme organized by PITE (Provincial Institute for Teacher Education) in collaboration with UNICEF under the supervision of Master Trainers Ali Muhammad and Nasir Ali.
He was given a detailed briefing on the training modules covering Pedagogy, Assessment, Literacy, Numeracy, and subject-based modules in English, Mathematics, and Urdu.
The MPA interacted with participating teachers, both male and female, who shared their experiences and feedback — including participants Banadri Eisa and Aslam, who highlighted the programme’s practical benefits.
Expressing satisfaction over the progress, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman said that professional training of teachers is fundamental to improving the quality of education. He commended the joint efforts of PITE and UNICEF for enhancing teachers’ capacities and strengthening education standards in Balochistan.
Among those present were District Education Officer Zahid Hussain, District Health Officer Dr. Abdul Latif Dashti, ESP Adil Noodizi, Principal Abdul Kareem, and UNICEF CPD Manager Saqr Baloch.
