RAWALPINDI, October 11.
Intense exchange of fire was reported late Saturday night between Afghan and Pakistani forces at several points along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, security sources confirmed.
According to reports, heavy firing erupted at three to four locations where Afghan forces initiated unprovoked aggression. In response, the Pakistan Army retaliated with full force, employing artillery fire to target and destroy multiple Taliban posts across the border.
Security sources stated that the exchange of fire continues intermittently, while Pakistan’s defensive positions remain fully alert and in control.
Officials reiterated that any attempt by hostile elements to challenge Pakistan’s territorial integrity or to facilitate terrorist infiltration will be met with a decisive and effective response.
