RAWALPINDI, October 16, 2025:
The Pakistan Army and Kazakhstan Army have commenced their joint military exercise “Dostarym-V” focused on Counter-Terrorism operations at the Special Operations School, Cherat, from October 13 to 24, 2025.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s elite Special Services Group (SSG) and the Special Forces of Kazakhstan are participating in the exercise.
The opening ceremony took place on October 14, 2025, at Cherat, symbolizing the growing military cooperation and trust between the two friendly nations.
ISPR noted that Exercise Dostarym-V is designed to refine professional skills, enhance joint operational readiness, and strengthen the long-standing defence partnership between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
The exercise also provides an opportunity for participating troops to share counter-terrorism expertise and modern tactical experience, fostering interoperability and mutual understanding between the two forces.
This collaboration highlights Pakistan’s continued commitment to regional peace, counter-terrorism cooperation, and international military partnerships.
