Lakki Marwat: Eight Khawarij Eliminated in Major Security Operation

Pakistan’s security forces achieved a major success in the Sultan Khel area of Lakki Marwat, eliminating eight highly wanted Khawarij terrorists in a precise intelligence-based operation, security sources confirmed.

The operation was launched following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of Afghan Taliban-backed Khawarij in the area. Security forces initiated aerial and ground surveillance in Sultan Khel and Toofan Wala, leading to the detection of militant movements.

Upon confirmation, a swift operation was executed, resulting in the elimination of all eight terrorists. A large cache of weapons and explosives was also recovered from the site.

According to security officials, 102 Khawarij sent by Afghan Taliban proxies have been neutralized during the past four days as part of ongoing counterterrorism operations under the National Action Plan.
Security forces reaffirmed their resolve to eliminate all threats to Pakistan’s peace and stability.
