Major Police-Rangers Operation Cripples Mazari Gang in Kashmore — Five Suspects Arrested, Weapons and Motorcycles Seized
In a major success against organized crime, Kashmore Police, in coordination with the Pakistan Rangers, carried out a powerful intelligence-based operation against the notorious Mazari gang under the directives of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Larkana Range, Mr. Nasir Aftab.
The operation, personally supervised by SSP Kashmore Muhammad Murad Ghanghro, was launched near RD-82 within the jurisdiction of Kashmore Police Station. It involved heavy deployment of police forces, Rangers personnel, CIA units, Madadgar Force, and APC chain support, all utilizing modern technology and surveillance systems to ensure precision and safety.
During the operation, five suspected criminals linked to the Mazari gang were taken into custody, while seven motorcycles and a significant cache of arms and ammunition were seized. The recovered weapons include two repeaters, one shotgun, one rifle, and a large quantity of bullets and cartridges.
According to the police spokesperson, the joint teams successfully surrounded the gang’s hideouts, dismantled their secret shelters, and cleared the area of potential threats. Law enforcement personnel have demolished the gang’s bases, ensuring that criminal groups find no refuge in the region.
DIGP Nasir Aftab commended the Kashmore Police and Rangers for their courage, professionalism, and operational excellence, emphasizing that the fight against organized crime and dacoit networks will continue with full force.
He reaffirmed that Larkana Range Police will not rest until every criminal element is eliminated and peace and security are fully restored across Kashmore and adjoining districts.
