Suicide Attack Foiled in Mir Ali: Four Militants Killed, No Security Casualties

Security forces foiled a coordinated suicide attack in Mir Ali today, killing four militants after they attempted to breach a security camp, officials said.

According to sources, a militant driving an explosives-laden vehicle rammed the perimeter wall of a security forces camp; the vehicle detonated on impact. Immediately afterwards, three additional militants tried to force their way into the camp on foot. Quick, decisive and courageous response by the security personnel neutralised all three attackers outside the compound.

Officials confirmed there were no casualties or injuries among security forces.
“Alhamdulillah — our troops sustained no losses,” an official source said.

The statement added that in the past two days, security operations have eliminated 88 militants backed by the Afghan Taliban, reflecting intensified counterterrorism efforts in the region.

The sources reiterated that under the National Action Plan, the Pakistan Armed Forces and law-enforcement agencies will continue operations until the final elimination of the militant threat, vowing to remain steadfast in defence of the country.
