Gwadar, October 22: Deputy Commissioner Hamood Ur Rehman chaired a key meeting addressing water supply to areas including Jiwani, Chub Kalmati, Chub Rikani, and Ngor through water bowsers.
Officials and community representatives discussed daily demand, supply quantities, rates, and quality standards. Jiwani requires approximately 200,000 gallons daily, while Chub Kalmati and surrounding areas need 150,000 gallons. Water is supplied from SANT SAR to Pleri, covering various localities.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized efficient, fair, and quality delivery. The water supply contract for UC Chub Kalmati and adjacent areas was awarded to Moin Construction Company, with rates of PKR 1.75 per liter for small bowsers and PKR 1.25 per liter for large bowsers.
