Passengers have voiced serious concern over the reckless driving of local buses operating between Hub Chowki and Karachi Lea Market, saying that overspeeding by drivers endangers hundreds of lives daily.
Commuters said that despite repeated complaints, authorities have taken no effective action against negligent drivers who routinely drive at dangerous speeds, ignoring traffic rules and passenger safety. They added that even traffic police checkpoints along the route fail to enforce control or issue penalties.
Passengers urged the Government of Balochistan and traffic authorities to take strict measures to regulate bus speeds and hold drivers accountable under law to ensure safe travel for daily commuters.
