Dera Murad Jamali: Schools Celebrate Iqbal Day; Citizens Demand Solutions to Urban Challenges

Dera Murad Jamali, 10 November 2025: Government Boys Model High School Dera Murad Jamali organized a special program to commemorate Allama Iqbal Day. The event was presided over by the school’s Vice Principal, Muhammad Akram Domki, while senior teacher Safir Ahmed Abro served as stage secretary.

The program began with a Quranic recitation by student Muhammad Yaseen, followed by a Naat-e-Maqbool by sixth-grade student Muhammad Nawaz. Students also participated in Urdu and English speech competitions, showcasing their oratory skills. Notable speakers included Abdul Rehman, Riaz Ahmed, Ehsan Ali, Farhan Ali, Muhammad Ali, and Mohabbat Khan, who spoke passionately about Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi, the Pakistan Ideology, and contemporary issues facing Muslims.

At the conclusion, Vice Principal Muhammad Akram, Rab Nawaz, Safir Ahmed, and Ahmad Ali highlighted Iqbal’s vision, urging students to implement his teachings in daily life. Senior teacher Maulvi Yaar Muhammad led the closing dua.
