International Iqbal Conference 2025 Kicks Off in Quetta with Grandeur and Scholarly Fervor

Quetta: The International Iqbal Conference 2025 is currently underway in Quetta with great pomp and scholarly enthusiasm. The three-day event, running from November 18 to 20, 2025, has brought together distinguished Iqbal scholars, researchers, intellectuals, and international personalities specializing in the study of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy and thought.

The conference is jointly organized by Rahmat-ul-Alameen & Kullab-e-Tameer-e-No Trust, Balochistan and Iqbal Academy Lahore, aiming to highlight the ideology of the national thinker of Pakistan, Allama Iqbal, in a global context. It seeks to effectively convey Iqbal’s thought to the youth and introduce contemporary solutions to the intellectual challenges facing the Muslim Ummah through his philosophy.

During the three-day gathering, participants will engage in academic sessions, paper presentations, interactive dialogues, special lectures, seminars, and cultural programs. Thousands of attendees from various fields of education, literature, culture, sociology, religious studies, media, youth organizations, and civil society across Balochistan are participating in the conference.

Key topics of discussion include Iqbal’s concept of Khudi (selfhood), poetry, revolutionary philosophy, Islamic civilization, the idea of a united Ummah, contemporary challenges, and the role of the youth. The conference will also feature recitations of Iqbal’s Persian and Urdu poetry, unveiling of research books on Iqbaliyat, and international exhibition stalls.

The grand finale of the conference will feature an International Quran Recitation Session, with renowned Qaris from every continent, creating a spiritually uplifting and globally unique event where participants’ hearts will be illuminated by the divine recitation of the Holy Quran.

The International Iqbal Conference 2025 marks a historic honor not only for Balochistan but for Pakistan as a whole, positioning the country positively on the international academic and cultural stage.
