Turbat, Nov. 17 —
Member of the Provincial Assembly Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, along with Deputy Commissioner Kech Bashir Ahmed Barich, officially inaugurated the 12-day measles–rubella vaccination campaign at Teaching Hospital Turbat. Children were administered protective drops, marking the practical start of the public health initiative.
The campaign, running from November 17 to 29, will provide vaccination to children aged six months to five years. Health teams will visit urban and rural households, while special vaccination points are also set up in schools, hospitals, madrassas, and community centers to ensure no child is left unvaccinated. Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch urged parents to vaccinate their children and actively participate in this crucial national initiative. Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed Barich assured full administrative support and established a district-level control room to monitor the campaign.
