Rawalpindi – November 18, 2025:
Pakistan’s security forces achieved a major success against foreign-backed terrorism over the past two days, neutralizing 24 militants affiliated with the Indian-sponsored extremist group Fitna Al-Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In the early hours of 18 November, a militant was eliminated in Bannu District while attempting to plant an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting innocent civilians. This failed attack underscores the increasing desperation of Khwarij elements under relentless pressure from Pakistan’s Security Forces and law enforcement agencies.

Earlier, between 16 and 17 November, intelligence-driven operations in Bajaur District resulted in the killing of 11 Khwarij militants, including their ringleader Sajjad alias Abuzar. In a separate operation in Bannu, 12 additional militants were neutralized. These coordinated strikes prevented potential attacks and significantly weakened the operational capabilities of the group.

Sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure no remaining Indian-sponsored militants remain in the area. The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s nationwide counterterrorism campaign, Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-supported terrorism from the country.

Security officials emphasized that these operations reflect Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding civilians and maintaining national security.
