Loralai – November 20, 2025:
In a swift and unprecedented public-sector response, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti approved and handed over a school bus to Government Girls High School Loralai within just four hours of the request being made.
The demand for a bus was raised by the school principal during a Grand Jirga, highlighting difficulties faced by students travelling from distant areas.
The chief minister immediately directed relevant authorities to provide a vehicle under the Chief Minister’s Initiative for Transport of All Students and Teachers, aimed at ensuring safe and dignified transportation for students.
The bus was officially handed over the same day in the presence of local administration, teachers and a large number of students. The rapid action has been widely praised as an example of efficient governance and strong commitment to improving access to education.
Officials noted that similar initiatives will be extended to other districts to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children in the province.
