QUETTA, Nov 25 — The Balochistan Assembly’s Standing Committee on the Board of Revenue met under Chairman Zamarak Khan Achakzai to examine key legislative drafts. Committee members, Assembly Secretariat officials, and Revenue and Law Department representatives attended the meeting. The committee reviewed the Aga Khan Properties (Succession and Transfer) Bill No. 36 (2025), raising financial, administrative, and legal clarifications. In the second session, the committee evaluated the Balochistan Public-Private Partnership Amendment Draft Bill (2025), Draft No. 38, which was approved following consultation. Members recommended strengthening public-welfare mechanisms in areas where Aga Khan educational and health institutions operate. Both Bill 36 and Bill 38 were formally approved after required explanations.
