Under the directives of IG Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir, the recruitment process for new constabulary personnel in the province has been successfully completed with the highest standards of transparency and merit. A dedicated special team was formed under the supervision of Additional IGP Commandant Balochistan Constabulary Ashfaq Ahmed Khan, who ensured strict adherence to the recruitment rules and procedures.
Out of 2,431 applicants, 35 forms were rejected, 658 candidates were absent, and 1,036 failed the physical fitness test. After the height and chest measurements, 644 candidates qualified for the next stage. In the written exam, 222 were absent and 18 papers were canceled due to discrepancies. Ultimately, 149 candidates, including 4 minority and 8 female candidates, were successfully recruited.
A total of 11 FIRs were filed against candidates involved in misconduct attempts. The recruitment aimed to provide capable, well-educated youth with opportunities to serve the province, maintain law and order, and uphold public confidence in the Balochistan Constabulary.
Additional IGP Ashfaq Ahmed Khan praised the dedication of the recruitment team and emphasized that only the most qualified candidates were selected to maintain morale and professionalism in the force.
