PESHAWAR — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned the bomb attack on a police mobile in Dera Ismail Khan, expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of three police personnel.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to ASI Gul Alam, Constable Rafiq and driver Sakhi Jan, noting that their sacrifice has brought honour to the nation. He said KP Police officers continue to confront terrorism on the front line despite limited resources, demonstrating exceptional courage and commitment.
Terming the incident a cowardly act, Afridi said such attacks cannot shake the government’s resolve. He reaffirmed that the provincial government stands firmly with its brave police force and salutes their sacrifices.
Afridi said the sacrifices of the fallen officers will not go in vain and those responsible for the attack will be brought to justice. He added that the fight against terrorism will continue with full determination and strength.
The Chief Minister prayed for the elevation of the fallen officers’ ranks and assured full support to their families, stating that the provincial government shares their grief and will extend all possible assistance.
