Quetta – December 5, 2025:
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has de-notified the victory of Syed Samiullah, the returned candidate from NA-251 Balochistan, in compliance with the directives of the Election Tribunal Balochistan. The tribunal ordered fresh polling in 22 polling stations of the constituency following reported irregularities.
According to the schedule issued by the ECP, re-polling at the designated 22 stations will be held on December 18, 2025. Polling will continue uninterrupted from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
For the re-election process, the ECP has appointed a District Returning Officer (DRO) and a Returning Officer (RO) to oversee and ensure transparent and orderly polling.
The fresh polling is expected to determine the final outcome for NA-251 after the earlier results were set aside based on the tribunal’s findings.
